Ahhh so disarming more law abiding students so they’re helpless when a crazy angry violent student goes wild… That’s “the plan” to keep people safe? Let’s be honest: UVA had three football players murdered because the administrators were impotent in disciplining bad behavior and didn’t want to confront a troubled black student when there were reports of his threatening behavior. The DEI mindset blinded them from being responsible and taking action to directly address a discipline problem. And the university has covered up their own reckless behavior where racial “equity” was more important than actual intervention and safety. This new law magically banning guns is the exact opposite of what needs to happen to keep students and others safe. It makes politicians feel like they have done something but it actually makes everyone less safe. When are we going to learn: immediate TOUGH discipline for violent and anti social behavior is the only thing that is going to start to solve this problem with mentally ill and hyper aggressive people. What we tolerate we get more of. We have decided to abandon social norms and moral constructs about public decorum and engagement and we are now scared to harshly discipline and punish obviously bad behavior especially for minorities - what do you think comes of this attitude?

Once again, we will do things the right way, the nice way, democrats will gain power, nuke the filibuster, and do what they want and we’ll get fucked. Again.

Texas pregnancy deaths did NOT suddenly rise 56% because abortion was banned. The statistic they’re throwing around measures year-over-year increases from 2019–2022… and Texas didn’t ban abortion until August 2022. I’ll give you one guess what major event happened between 2019 and 2022 that might’ve impacted pregnancy-related deaths. Hint: it wasn’t the abortion ban.
