It was a pleasure to welcome Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, @peterkyle to officially open our Molecular Sciences Building last week
The Molecular Science Building @unibirmingham will allow 500 scientists to carry out research in vital industries like energy, healthcare & the environment. @peterkyle opened the new facility earlier this week, where he received a lab tour & met with local stakeholders.

Another exciting fieldtrip to Tudusoo and Laukasoo bogs, restored by @LIFEprogramme Mires of Estonia in 2015-2021. Very interesting excursions and lectures by @ELFond to learn about the complex design, long-term monitoring, and public understanding of peat restoration projects!
