Tried the extension a few months back where it wasn't really working for me (early prototype). Tried again today and works like a charm and makes work on state machines so much easier in VSCode. Thanks @mpocock1 / @statelyai !
AST parsing is so powerful. The new XState VSCode extension gives you autocomplete/find in definition in super-split up machine definitions, all through parsing via Babel and some VSCode magic. Makes me wonder what other applications there are for this...

It's not often that I agree with Boris Johnson but at least here he sees sense 👍

In the heyday of electric trams in London, Kensington did not have a single inch of tramway. Campaigners claimed trams would bring an “undesirable” class of person. About 85 yrs later, Kensington’s thinly veiled prejudice is still here; it hasn’t a single inch of safe cycleway.

This is the BBC's Environment Correspondent describing a video, widely shared by troll accounts, of a man shouting and swearing near families in a residential street as "brilliant". This led to a one-sided piece on LTNs which was devoid of any fact-checking. THREAD (1/18) 👇

Mr. Fox, mayoral candidate of the Reclaim Party, said "he was opposed to low-traffic neighbourhoods, saying a five minute drive to his father’s house had become a 30-minute journey." Mmh, what could possibly be wrong with this sentence? 🤦‍♂️ standard.co.uk/news/mayor/lo… #LondonMayor

Remember: the reason we are locking down for a 3rd time is because of the government’s failure to contain the virus. Containment means an effective test, trace, isolate and support system. Our system was handed to cronies and profiteers, and the £12bn spent on it was wasted.

Why am I so interested in one cycle lane? Because what’s happened in Kensington is a loss for London’s entire transport system. It’s also a metaphor for how active travel may be treated up and down the country. It turns out a lot of other people are interested too.

Surprise, surprise. Been there yesterday and it was exactly like that. Bunch of parked cars, difficult to get into the carriageway as a cyclist, altogether an uninviting experience. Time for bringing back the cycle lane this year 🤞
2021 is the year when we should start leading with data and evidence for all things. It’ll take us to a better place. In fact, it’s time it was compulsory. Well done @peterwalker99 and @adamtranter for this piece theguardian.com/uk-news/2021…
Nice touch: Bin men just rang our door and wished "Merry Christmas on behalf of Brent Council and the Recycling Team". Appreciate the work they do all year round and even on Christmas Eve @VeoliaUK @Brent_Council
Looking forward to using this in our development. Using React Query v2 has allowed us to get rid of React Context and greatly simplified and improved our data fetching throughout the application.

Heads up: @RBKC have removed the cycle tracks overnight without putting up any signage to warn anyone beforehand so anyone cycling to school is likely to be unaware that this was coming. Totally normal behaviour.

Most backwards oriented Borough in London award goes to: LBKC! Congratulations! May your dear resident's Land Rovers and Lamborghinis enjoy the one day of less traffic until gridlock comes back. Because who cares about people who prefer living without a car? 🤦‍♂️
Businesses and residents have told us our trial cycle lanes aren’t working. So from Wednesday 2 December, the Kensington High Street cycle lane will be removed. Overnight works will keep disruption low and will take around 5 nights. More: rbkc.gov.uk/newsroom/all-cou…
