You're not entirely wrong. It's extremely over-engineered and a constantly shifting sandbox soup of all of our libraries. There are also portions of it that we've completely vibe coded to test the plausibility (it works) of using TanStack as a blind framework (hello normies).

Thereโs something deeply satisfying knowing that models are getting good enough (Fable could be the one) to do a full rewrite to @tan_stack start from NextJS pages router for @simple_pdf

So the TanStack team needed an AI assistant that could:

offloop was stuck on some nasty performance problems... thousands of chat messages, markdown, images, and dynamic heights all fighting the scroll thread!!!
so we rebuilt the whole product with @tan_stack... with tanstack virtual at the core.
now offloop feels like a totally different product... faster, smoother, lighter!!!
