A special treat at @agsrfc this Sunday for @TheChallengeCup game when renowned Uilleann Piper, Jason Rouse will pipe the players onto the field, play a lament for those from both clubs no longer with us - and the club's anthem Dirty Old Town! Hairs on the back of the neck stuff

And so, as the headaches subside and the memories linger, our thoughts turn to January when we will be Wales' representative in the @TheChallengeCup Our last foray in 2003 ended in defeat at the hands of @InceRose and the Cassidy brothers at @agsrfc Field of Dreams.

In the lead up to this Rugby World Cup the Fijian Rugby Team flew to Suva, travelled 28 hours on a ferry, bus and boat up to one of the outer islands where Semi Radradraโs from. Went into this village and slept in a big hall on the floor and lived like traditional Fijians sleeping on the floor, communal open living in the middle of the village, training and having the villagers come around to help feed them.

The Boys From Cardiff Summers by Kenny Poole is a recollection of the Old Illtydian baseball team in Cardiff . The Illts had some legends of sport including Terry Holmes, Mark Ring, David Giles, Pablo Rees, Kev Trevett and Hanky Sanders.A great read of an amazing time
