New York wanted to add a weapon for Jaxson Dart in this draft. Hence the interest in Jeremiyah Love and Jordyn Tyson.

Don't get me wrong, I am excited about Reese and agree he was BPA at #5.
But is there a package the Giants can play Carter / Burns / Thibs / Reese at the same time?
I guess in theory we can kick Thibs inside with Reader on obvious passing downs and have Reese on edge?

He's BY FAR our best run defender on the team right now.
My opinion: if he is willing to sign a $20m AAV deal (fringe top 20 edge), I'm doing it.

Dex is on $22m AAV with no more guaranteed money. He is now 13th highest paid DT. Clearly deserves a raise/new deal.

Joe Schoen said the Giants are "a little bit light on money right now" but said they're in constant constant with agents of players they're interested in.
That led to the question of why the Giants haven't used void years. Schoen said it's a tool they can use, but they try not to unless they have to. "It's kind of like using the credit card as you go if you need it. It would have to be significant to entertain that."
Schoen said he doesn't think it puts them at a disadvantage while competing against teams, namely the Eagles, who have fully embraced void years.

Vega Ioane is the best pure guard prospect since Quentin Nelson. I’d very much spend a top 10 pick on him.
