Dr. Malunga’s career has been dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing health and social justice issues of our time - reducing teenage pregnancy, tackling maternal mortality, and empowering young people to live healthier, more dignified lives. Her work has shaped programs, influenced policies, and most importantly, touched communities across Africa. Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Malunga has been a mentor and role model, especially for young women, encouraging them to claim their space and lead with confidence. As she steps into a new chapter, we celebrate her commitment to health, rights, and equity, a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. #FireplaceWithUNFPARep
