My author copies of the book finally arrived and the book looks great! I’m very excited about this publication. I recently did a Q&A with the newspaper, The Jewish Vues. Links to order the book and read the Q&A to follow

Sometimes I wonder why we don’t see multiple Israel real estate events a night, five days a week. Make the protesters work hard.

Wait, no, we had sports in NYC this week. Don’t tell me we’re going to have it again next week.

This is mind-blowing. The name of the current war in Lebanon is known in Hebrew as “the war of the ceasefire”

Every interaction I had with Robert Louis Wilken showed his humility and generosity of spirit. When we first met he surprised me by treating me like a close friend. I last emailed him about one of Ishai Ribo’s songs, which he found deeply meaningful. May his memory be a blessing.
In memory of Robert Louis Wilken, who died today from cancer at 89, here, from 2004, is one of his most important essays. It is one of the intellectual touchstones of my life and work. What a great, great man we lost today. firstthings.com/the-church-a…

Hot take: If you need milk and sugar just to consume your coffee, you don’t like coffee. Drink a milkshake and pop a caffeine pill.
