“Randi, you like our music?” Students, I do not care. Is trap music blasting? Yup. Is 100% of the class working collaboratively and getting a lab done? Yup. Are they all getting along? Yup. How many kids have left the class for ‘all the reasons?’ None. This is a class success.

Even teachers still learn. Attended a class from the @ISUExtension in Dallas County learning how to graft apple trees. 🍎 🌳 my mom was better than me, and I definitely had help on both trees from the instructor! Haha!

I am tired. In the best way. From making bread through yeast fermentation, 🫀dissection, Newton Egg cars, and preparing for our plant sale, this teacher is tired. Engaging students in meaningful learning is hard work.

I was out of school for the past three school days and with subs, I know most students are not going to do much. But this kid just blew me away with what they got done! Connecting both our current standard with our next unit! 🤯
