Binance Staking has increased its Sonic validator self-stake from 76M to 86M $S. That is an additional 10M $S staked directly to @Binance’s validator, while roughly 35% of the total $S supply is now staked across the network. Current staking rewards: - Delegators: 4.81% APR - Validators: 5.66% APR More stake securing the network. More infrastructure alignment.

Sonic's L1 has seen its stablecoin supply jump 10%. Earlier this week, @SonicLabs reached the 200M transaction milestone. Now, it's seen its stablecoin supply jump 10% over the past week, reaching a total of around $130M . Though ranking only 33rd by stablecoin supply, no other blockchain has seen its stablecoin ecosystem grow by as much in the past seven days, aside from @ripple's $XRP Ledger.

The upcoming Sonic network upgrade brings a set of new features that set Sonic apart. Simple but powerful ways to make Sonic even more frictionless for every type of user.

Still some appetite for defi innovation at least.
Flying Tulip Weekly Update - June 5 This week: optimization and hardening of ftUSD and Lend across Sonic and Ethereum, ongoing work on the new version of the PUT Marketplace, and continued progress toward Spot, Leverage Trading, and TRS. ftUSD supply remained stable at $2.15M, supported by rollout of on-chain delta-neutral strategies, with current staked ftUSD APY at 18.49% on Sonic, and 2.18% on Ethereum. sftUSD redemptions are instant, with no unstaking periods and no exit queues. Sonic Network is already one of the most efficient rails for moving value onchain. As fees trend toward zero, vertical integration becomes even more important. Low fees reduce friction, but they do not eliminate it. The next step is moving from fast to frictionless.

Great to see sonic-3:native @SonicLabs actively taking part in meaningful discussions. Tbh, only a handful of L1s can truly scale apps and payments. Speed and low fees matter, and Sonic has shown both. But reliability is still underrated. For time critical and financial critical apps, infra choice will not come down to speed alone. Most chains now have fast blocks and low gas. The winners will be the networks that are reliable, consistent, and built for serious EVM execution. Sonic is one of them.

It's smol, but being revenue positive since day 1 definitely helps alleviate a lot of the usual "crypto project sustainability" concerns. Very happy with the first 90 days.
Revenue and fees generated by all @flyingtulip_ products flow back into buybacks. Token supply is 100% unlocked. The team got no upfront token allocation, but instead is rewarded from revenue-driven open-market buybacks, so only if products work AND if users actually use them.

Stablecoin yield on sonic-3:native @SonicLabs Flying Tulip: ftUSD via USDC/USSD: 5.37% Margin Lending USDC deposit: 8.8% Aave: USDC deposit: 7.14% Some of the best pure stablecoin yields on any network, without incentives or leverage.

Including puts revenue, almost $1m in revenue in first 90 days. What ARR is that?
.@flyingtulip_ has a token-first model. Revenue, fees, and yield from all products, including ftUSD, margin lending borrow interest, PUT Marketplace, RFQ, and more, flow back into ethereum:0x5dd1a7a369e8273371d2dbf9d83356057088082c buybacks. That buyback pressure just reached a new ATH.

90 days. All brand new systems. Will take awhile till people realize why equity based accounts are better than LTV lending.
Flying Tulip Weekly Update - May 29 This week: ftUSD became available as collateral on Lend, BTC borrow costs were reduced on Sonic and Ethereum, and Sonic Lend borrowing parameters were updated to make borrowing more accessible. ftUSD supply and Margin Lending TVL continued to grow, with ftUSD APY on Sonic increasing to 4.57% — all without incentives, points, or leverage-driven farming, and with instant redemptions. I've been testing @flyingtulip_ on @SonicLabs for the past few weeks. The feature set and the entire stack are something I have not seen executed this cohesively onchain before. - Delta neutral yielding stablecoin - Spot orderbook - Margin lending - Total return swaps - Perpetual futures - Leveraged spot - Full chain RFQ With Binary markets, Insurance, Zk Oracles in the works. All built into a fully composable product, with revenue routed to $FT buybacks and real value capture. This is clearly the culmination of years of work, and I believe it's @AndreCronjeTech's magnum opus. I can honestly say this is the next generation of DeFi we've all been waiting for. Built on Sonic.

We are already seeing vertical integration take shape on Sonic. This revenue model is much better than relying on Tx fees. Fees can keep trending toward zero, improving chain usability, while the L1 still generates revenue multiple orders of magnitude higher than Tx fees. Best part: it all routes back to sonic-3:native .
May 27
Vertical integration on Sonic is moving from concept to data. With zero incentives, $USSD is at ~$80K annualized RWA yield, while @ShadowOnSonic's AutoVault has already bought ~350K $S from market activity. Different products, different revenue sources, same route back to $S.

Its easy to fake metrics, but when you use chains like $S you see the dapps that actually do exist and makes you think about those high traffic chains with not much happening on them
🧠 Where does Web3 actually get built? Plenty of ecosystems attract developers, but not all of them ship Some ecosystems turn developer activity into far more output 👇
