Unfortunately, some visitors become victims of fraud, scams, or other forms of cheating during their stay. In many such cases, victims lose hope of recovering their money or obtaining justice. However, my experience has demonstrated the dedication and responsiveness of the Goa Police. After a complaint regarding a cheating incident was reported to the police, swift action was taken. Remarkably, within just 12 hours of informing the police authorities, the matter was effectively addressed and resolved. Such prompt intervention reflects the high standards of policing and public service maintained by the Goa Police. The ability to respond quickly, investigate complaints efficiently, and provide timely relief to affected individuals strengthens public confidence in law enforcement. It also sends a strong message that fraudulent activities against tourists and visitors will not be tolerated in Goa. I commend the Goa Police for their vigilance, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to protecting both residents and tourists. Their dedication not only helps victims obtain justice but also enhances Goa’s reputation as a safe and welcoming destination. Regarding Vasco SFX Hate speech case As promised by Hon'ble Chief Minister Goa Dr Pramod Sawant, prompt action has been taken by the government in this case. Based on an input by Goa Police, Himachal Pradesh Police has detained the main accused Gautam Khattar in Kullu distt this evening. Regarding Baga viral video incident reported on 13/04/2026, action has been taken by Crime Branch. An accused arrested for soliciting a woman, making explicit sexual advances, recording the incident, and circulating the content online. Further investigation in progress.
