The 2026 wrapped up this week with 2 days of phenomenal golf at Indianhead Golf Club. Star’s senior Nash Malone defended his title as State Champion and impressed the crowd with an eagle putt on hole 18 day 1. Our two freshman, Lawson Cochran and Miles Hershberger, shot their personal bests on the biggest stage in Nebraska high school golf. Cochran coming in clutch with an even 72 the second day of the tournament! Asher O’Brien and Connor Bash used what they learned in the 2025 State Tournament and kept their eyes on the prize, playing consistent both days! The Stars worked hard this year and were able to enjoy a lot of success throughout the season because of it. Now it’s time for summer golf and preparation for the 2027 season starts today!

2-time State Champion and a high school career that will never be forgotten. Thank you Nash for representing our program with grit, class, and excellence. Cold, rain, wind....didn't matter. The Stars battled through brutal conditions and punched their ticket to State as a team! Nash Malone and Connor Bash both placed in the top 10, qualifying them individually as well. A special thank you to Coach Bash and Coach Mitchell for fighting the weather today to help lead these boys to victory! Keep shining Stars! ⛳️⭐️

It was a beautiful day at the Fremont Golf Club. The Stars brought home 2nd with a score of 315, losing by only one stroke. Nash Malone placed 2nd and both Asher O'Brien and Connor Bash medaled as well. Way to go boys!

19 teams at the GICC Invite today and the competition was fierce! Nash Malone brought home the gold shooting an outstanding 68 and the team placed 3rd. Way to go Stars!
