7/x of games I beat in 2026 is Sonic 2 in Sonic Origins!
Took me a few tries to get the final boss down, I forgot the times he was able to be safely hit. Also it was troublesome to get all Emeralds playing with Tails too.

I organized my Game Room Bar into "not bourbon whiskey" vs "bourbon" shelves.
Coming to this little corner on the weekends to enjoy small pours from a variety of whiskey's while playing games is one of my favorite pastimes.

Moved stuff around in my game room to get the racing wheel setup on the TV. I wanted my 13 year old to get a feel for driving in a more sim-like game (Forza 5 open world). Then my youngest wanted to play Mario Kart on it. 🤣

The Dungeons are a great showcase of what Zelda looks like with the power of the Super Famicom.
The spritework is gorgeous to me, and the enemies look much better.
While the 16-bit theme was supposed to be a backup if the broadcast went down, Nakatsuka's arrangement went hard. #Zelda

Far too often I see a lot of bagging on "modern games" as someone very into playing retro games.
Recently I've started my first playthroughs of Baldur's Gate 3 and Forza Horizon 5 and honestly it's really great.

Took a Muay Thai class for the first time in a while last night and my instructor was correcting my stance, less bladed and boxing oriented and more square up.
My initial thought was "oh, like Sagat".
Video Games have ruined me.
