Life is a strange old thing isn’t it? The government is backing out of its triple lock on pensions at a time of rampant inflation (pensions aren’t a State benefit as we’ve paid in for 50 years) yet it’s taken the lock of Bankers Bonuses … a blue spotlight on their values.

This democracy that the establishment allows us is a strange one .. a cross against a preordained name with preset policies …I think that we can do better.

They say that there are two good days when you own a boat…when you buy it and you sell it. Well we’ve had some FANTASTIC days on ours with fabulous volunteers, guests, film crews, tv personalities and sometimes, just us and a few dolphins or sharks or whales…goodbye Happy Jack!

This is the end of the argument. Ironically, it is the absurd GB News having to endure this masterclass in simply articulated, balanced, fact-based, expertise. If you believe any other version of events, good luck tying your shoelaces this morning.

A thought on the Tory leadership contest, with both candidates not only trashing each other but also being very critical of the state of the country. While both Sunak & Truss offer themselves as the solution, will voters conclude the problem is ultimately the Conservative Party?

Thank you so much to all of the brilliant people who care about the NHS who’ve just followed me (and to all those who’ve asked them to). Those of us who want to fight for its future must start connecting. It’s great to ā€˜meet’ you! Ju x

Just an experiment. At the next election, I’ll vote for whichever party prioritises the NHS (and halts reverses all privatisation), the climate emergency, and reinstates democratic freedoms to protest. Is anyone else with me? RT if you agree.

I wish everyone on Earth knew how genuinely "off the charts" key planetary trends are right now, and how abnormal and critical it is. Things like atmospheric CO2 fraction, heat extremes on land and ocean, biodiversity loss and extinction rates. All alarms should be going off

It’s all about tax cuts…how about some tax hikes that will fund investment in infrastructure and our overstretched and worn down services. We could dig ourselves out of this mess!
