On the day America celebrated the IPO of its biggest space company, Britain found out its government is banning underfloor heating. The decline of our country is not inevitable, it is the choice of the rotten political class.

In 1066, an invading force took control of our country. They imposed punitive laws and decrees on the people they had conquered, creating a two tier society where the ruling class enjoyed privilege while the native population carried the burden. It took Magna Carta, and the centuries of struggle that followed, to establish the principle that power must be restrained by law. Yet over the last 30 years, we have marched backwards. Two tier policing.โ€จTwo tier justice.โ€จTwo tier speech.โ€จTwo tier treatment by the state. We are now building a society where ordinary British people are taxed, silenced, ignored, lectured and punished, while protected classes, political favourites and state approved causes are indulged, defended and rewarded. The Normans would recognise the system. They might even think we had gone too far. Britain does not need managing. It needs restoring.

Japanโ€™s record heavy snowfall in Jan 2026 was not mentioned by MSM but the warmists are now trying to blame it on warming! No, this was cold weather blasting from the Arctic.
The IPCC says snowfall should become less frequent in a warming world. Yet when Japan was buried by record snow in January 2026, the explanation changed. Researchers claimed global warming increased the snowfall. The storm itself was straightforward: a prolonged surge of Arctic air crossed the Sea of Japan, producing intense snowbands. Sapporo transport shut down. Aomori set depth records. Communities across northern Honshu were buried. And Japan's army was even deployed. Instead of simply pointing to the cold air outbreak though, researchers at Japan's Meteorological Institute instead ran climate model simulations. The models concluded warming increased snowfall by about 7%. So the theory now reads: global warming reduces snow, except when it increases snow... Under this framework, every possible outcome appears to confirm the same conclusion. "A theory that explains everything explains nothing."

I was still on sick leave when this came out. It was a wide ranging discussion which I hope people will watch Just yesterday I was reading that credible economists are now saying there's a real chance we're going to need an IMF bailout by 2030 because the economy is in dire straits Expensive energy is a huge contributory factor to this A new focus on affordability is urgently required rather than more @Ed_Miliband blathering about leading the world
I'd never done an interview about net zero. What @KathrynPorter26 told me gave me sleepless nights. Pls like & share - others like me need to know what's going on.

The Met Office should be abolished. They are merely a propaganda outlet.
A freedom of information request has revealed that, once again, the UK Met Office has been publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't even exist. "The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from phantom neighbouring stations." "This is the foundation of the UK's climate record."

I must confess to having underestimated Keir Starmer. Thumped in Thursdayโ€™s elections, this weekend he turns to Gordon Brown and Harriet Harman to rejuvenate his government with young, fresh blood. A stroke of pure genius. I foresee a second Starmer landslide come the next general election. Respect, sir.

This is all true. Classic red herring Also classic attempt to look like you're doing something to address a problem when really you're not We're now in a crazy situation where we spend ยฃbillions to subsidise supposedly "cheap" energy Then we spend ยฃbillions to fix the problems that cheap energy causes on the grid (need for more power lines, backup generation or storage and managing real time intermittency) Then we spend ยฃbillions supporting consumers to be able to afford the previous ยฃbillions in cost we created And @Ed_Miliband is deluded enough to think the rest of the world wants to copy us
Ed Miliband has announced plans to โ€˜break the linkโ€™ between gas and wholesale electricity prices. Once again he has NOT come to Parliament to announce these plansโ€ฆ no doubt because someone might ask him some questionsโ€ฆ Hereโ€™s why they are red herring ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ

The UK Met Office has again been caught publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't exist. An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it. The office said they were using well-correlated neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie. The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from 'phantom' neighboring stations. When exposed, the office quietly deleted years of readings for Lowestoft, as well as a number of other stations, and added a disclaimer saying their data is "for general interest only." FOIs also show over one third of Met Office stations never existed, and that real high-quality sites like Colwood are ignored. Also, more than 80% of the network is low-grade class 4 or 5, by WMO standards, giving 2-5C uncertainty. This is the foundation of the UK's climate record โ€“ closed stations, imaginary stations and synthetic temperatures. The Met Office isn't credible.

The BBC says it will "review" its climate coverage. Not because it suddenly found integrity, but because it got caught. A leaked letter from a former standards advisor accused executives of ignoring "widespread evidence of skewed reporting." The BBC has skewed the truth for years to push a political agenda. It claimed human CO2 made US heat waves "35 times more likely," it said wildfires were exploding because of climate change, and it sold Net Zero as an economic miracle while hiding the costs. These are all falsehoods. The data, in many cases, show the exact opposite. And when challenged, the BBC quietly edited, deleted or buried the evidence. Even the regulator Ofcom ordered entire climate programs be pulled for dishonesty. This isn't journalism, it's propaganda. But the public is cottoning on and switching off. In the past two years alone, roughly a million UK households have stopped paying the BBC license fee.

And yet the use of all three fossil fuels continues to rise Here's the real proof that the world as a whole just doesn't care about Net Zero. In Britain, we're not 'leading'. Just sacrificing ourselves for a cause nobody else believes in We're nuts
