This Veterans Day, let’s remember the generals who took a stand and tried to warn us of the existential threat Donald Trump posed to America. RETWEET to thank Generals Jim Mattis, John Kelly, Mark Milley, and Stanley McChrystal for standing up for democracy!

Meet Jonathan Seed—a huntmaster for over a decade and a lifelong participant in fox hunting. He’d hate it if this post led more people to support the campaign for a true fox hunting ban. You know what to do… 🦊 👉 protectthewild.org.uk/our-ca…

It was literally Channel 4 plus ‘Sunday Times’ journalism. Both “MSM”.

Journalists should be more suspicious of UK politicians who HAVEN'T criticised Donald Trump.

He’s an adjudicated rapist & convicted felon who tried desperately to subvert democracy & sent a murderous mob after his own Vice President. But, sure, here’s 2000 words on how the ‘hysterical left just don’t get it’. (TLDR: Cry harder!) Now, who do I invoice? 🤪

Fascism isn't coming, it's here. Our journalistic institutions are afraid to even weigh in on whether Donald Trump - an unhinged criminal who spends his campaign speeches fantasizing about the violence he'll inflict on his political opponents - is good or bad.

Seeing big national newspapers decline to make a presidential endorsement because they don't want to risk Trump's retaliation if he wins is really dark. That's not something I ever expected to see in the United States.

Jeff Bezos has forced The Washington Post - the newspaper he owns - to not endorse in a presidential race for the first time 36 years because he’s worried Donald Trump will take away his government contracts. RETWEET if you think @JeffBezos is a disgrace to democracy!

The first step towards fascism is when the free press cowers in fear.

Makes no sense that #KeirStarmer is ruling out an EU youth mobility scheme Especially when we already have 13 YMSs - eg with New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Japan, Iceland, and Uruguay - which bring economic, social & cultural benefits! #brexit @Independent independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

So two billionaires who own two of the most influential newspapers in America both intervene so their editorial boards can’t endorse Kamala Harris. Both owners have ties to Trump. And yet, the media wonders why no one trusts us.

Starmer is right to distinguish between people who work and earn wages and people who own assets and earn interest or rents The former drive a successful economy; the latter extract value rather than creating it Taxing assets more will help fund investment and reduce inequality
