There's 3 grocery stores
There's 3 cell companies
There's 3 gas stations.
All of this leads to the prices we've been facing for years now.
If people are angry about grocery prices, put the blame where it belongs. We have 3 major grocery stores in Canada, and all 3 of them own the rest of our grocery stores. There is basically no competition and no reason for them not to increase prices. We need more competition against these 3 price-gouging stores. Grocery stores set their own prices. The government doesn't set the prices.
This would still be the case under a conservative government.
