During #HRC62 EID on the #Sudan, PR of 🇬🇷 Greece to @UNGeneva, Amb. I. Ghikas, expressed Greece's grave concern over the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Sudan and widespread violations of international humanitarian and human rights law. Greece strongly condemns attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, including humanitarian and healthcare workers, notably in El Fasher, and calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities, full protection of civilians, and safe, unhindered humanitarian access. We stress the urgent need for accountability and sustained international engagement to prevent further destabilization.
