A new era in educational freedom. Don't let the skeptics and Eeyores tell you otherwise. This is a big, beautiful program and anyone in favor of school choice should support and work to make implementation a success. Thanks @SchoolChoiceNow and allies!
SCHOOL CHOICE details in the One Big Beautiful Bill. Absolutely historic day for the education freedom movement: - Everyone in America can donate $1,700 to a scholarship group (501c3 charity) for a 100% federal income tax credit.  - No annual aggregate tax credit cap. - Permanent law, no sunset. - Scholarship recipients must be under 300% of area median income (a HUD formula, covering 85-90% of families). - Governors in each state must designate which scholarship groups can receive funds. - Scholarship groups can cover any of the costs here:

This week the U.S. Treasury gave a good deal of direction for how the EFTC will operate in 2027. Governors have plenty of information to opt-in and allow scholarship orgs to develop and prep to support students. @Tommy_USA @schoolchoicenow @wsj buff.ly/u5LGzlF

A smart decision! It's a win-win-win program for parents, donors, and all educators. The dominoes are starting - 50 states by January 1, 2027! #EFTC

Encouraging story! Glad they ended up at such a well-named school ;) (Rhodora was my grandmother, RIP)
Here’s the latest example of a family moving to Florida for better schools & #schoolchoice: The Mickelsons from Minnesota. Toby & Nicole Mickelson had a number of reasons for wanting to leave the Gopher State, but they weren’t sure where to go. Then a friend in FL posted on facebook about the state’s choice scholarships, which the Legislature & @GovRonDeSantis made available to every single student, beginning in 2023. Nicole said, “Can you believe this even exists?” Toby said, “Are you kidding me?” At that point, Nicole told me, Florida “was a shoo in.” Now the Mickelsons are proud Floridians, with four children at the Donahue Academy, a classical Catholic school like the one they attended back in Minnesota. @matthewladner @JmsMadisonInst @bendegrow nextstepsblog.org/2026/02/fr…

This is such important work. America stands for truth, is again becoming a force for goodness, and needs to be beautified!
.@USDOT Secretary @SecDuffy has appointed me chairman of the new, first-of-its kind Beautifying Transportation Infrastructure Council. The Council will advise the Secretary on the aesthetics of highways, bridges, and train stations, among others. The creation of the Council aligns with Trump's Executive Order "Making Federal Architecture Beautiful Again." It is a true honor to be appointed to the Council. From the Golden Gate Bridge to the Merritt Parkway, from Dulles Airport to Cincinnati Union Terminal, America has constructed some of the most aesthetically pleasing infrastructure in the world. Our country did it before, and we can do it again. Beauty in design must not be an afterthought, dismissed as an alleged luxury or anachronism in the name of pure functionalism. Yet for decades far too much of our built environment has been soulless and ugly. Harmony with the natural and historic landscape matters, as does urban revitalization. People want to live, work, and travel in lovable, inspiring places. I look forward to working with the Council in providing guidance on the aesthetics of design.

In my tween and teen years I got into Dilbert, reading a few of the anthologies over and over. Despite little understanding at that age of white-collar office work, I could share in laughing along with @ScottAdamsSays insights on human nature. As I came across Scott's work in the last decade w/r/t politics, I gave him the benefit of the doubt because his Dilbert comic was so smart. I'm glad I did because I have learned lessons from him and his perspective. I'm heartened to hear of his profession of faith near the end. May he rest in peace.

I’m thrilled to announce that Iowa is the first state approved for a Returning Education to the States Waiver! They will save nearly $8 MILLION over 4 years in compliance costs – money they can put directly back into the classroom. Congrats to Iowa students and families!

Covid was THE intelligence test of my lifetime. Your actions in response tell me most of what I need to know about you. The White House under Biden were horrible people and that came through in all their policies, especially Covid.
4 years ago the Biden White House issued this demeaning and nasty Xmas message. Never forget what they did to you.

States who do not opt-in are pushing money out of state. Donors will give across state lines if forced to. Keep these education support dollars - for public and private school students - in your state and opt-in!
Every state will have school choice soon
