Well done to everyone involved, especially our student Paramedics!
Recently, members of the Defence Forces Central Medical Unit and the National Ambulance Service participated in a joint major incident exercise, responding together in a complex and demanding operational environment. Exercises such as this are essential to strengthening the nation through operational readiness, professionalism, interoperability, and teamwork.

In September 2024, we received 79 hoax calls; one of our busiest months for false alarms.This September, that number was 51.
It’s a step in the right direction but still 51 times a real patient might have waited longer for help.Let’s keep working together to bring that number ⬇️

The determination at the protests is growing & growing. Frontline workers know the Pay & Numbers Strategy is the recruitment embargo under another name.
