The expansion of US sanctions against Cuba is hurting ordinary people and endangering lives. It is unacceptable that children are dying for lack of essential medical supplies. These sanctions must be lifted immediately. ohchr.org/en/press-releases/…

Mark Entwistle, Canada's ambassador to Cuba in 1996, told CBC that the framing misses some important context. Cuba was facing violent attacks from other U.S.-based groups of Cuban exiles who were effectively "anti-Castro terrorist groups," Entwistle said. cbc.ca/news/world/livestory/…

Why is the US preparing a military intervention against Bolivia? 1) Their humiliating defeat in Iran has shattered myth of US invincibility. They need to reassert power elsewhere. 2) Bolivia's general strike shows the rest of Latin America how to overthrow US puppet regimes.

One of the most horrifying and brutal scenes ever captured on camera in modern history. Israeli soldiers opened fire on thousands of starving Palestinians in Gaza as they ran in desperation trying to get a piece of food during the war on Gaza. A moment the world must never forget.

Israel killed 41 people in Lebanon in a single day DURING A “CEASEFIRE.” Depraved, vile society
💢 LEBANON | Israel Kills 41, Injures 89 in 24 Hours, Including Women and Children Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 41 people were killed and 89 wounded over the past 24 hours, bringing the total since March 2 to more than 2,659 killed and 8,183 injured. 🔸Israeli forces carried out widespread airstrikes and artillery shelling across southern Lebanon near the Israeli border on Friday and Saturday, killing dozens. 🔸At least three were killed in a dawn strike on al-Louaizeh in the Jezzine district, east of the coastal city of Sidon, with additional casualties reported in Shoukin near Nabatieh, where the town’s mayor was among the wounded, according to Al Mayadeen and Lebanon’s National News Agency. 🔸Strikes hit towns across Nabatieh, Tyre (a major coastal city), Bint Jbeil, Marjeyoun, and Hasbaya, all in southern Lebanon along or near the border region. 🔸Israeli forces also demolished a monastery and school run by the Sisters of the Holy Savior in Yaroun, a border village, described by the NNA as one of the region’s most prominent educational institutions. 🔸Israeli forces blocked Red Cross teams from retrieving bodies and evacuating the wounded in Majdal Selm, a town in the Nabatieh district, Al Mayadeen reported. 🔸The military also ordered forced evacuations of nine villages in the same district, killing at least eight people there in fresh strikes on Saturday, according to L’Orient Today. 🔸Press TV Journalist Hadi Hoteit said Israeli forces destroyed a 100-year-old community center in his village of Dweir in southern Lebanon: “We can barely process the amount of terror against our people… The collective memory of a century was erased.” The strikes come despite a “ceasefire” extended on April 24.
