There are teams right now convincing themselves that they shouldn't draft defencemen like Shayne Gostisbehere and Sean Walker just because they're undersized.
Both players just won the Stanley Cup.

Looks like Theo Rochette could be another Rychlovsky or Tralmaks. 24 years old and 43 points in 46 games in his 3rd season in the Swiss league, also played in the QMJHL for 5 seasons. Will most likely start in GR unless he blows the doors down in camp.

I'll take several futures if they are top prospects close to playing. But I don't think it throws them back into a full rebuild considering the pool they have. I think it's imperative to get a good roster player back though.
