“What camera should I buy to start with”
Bruv use your iPhone.
This idea has been a thing for a while now but I’d say since the iPhone 11 and newer it’s been a legitimate option.
The ability to carry a device in your pocket at all times that is capable of capturing good RAW photos is an absolute game changer.
“But the sensor is small” - so what.
“But it’s not a real camera” - can you justify that statement and explain why exactly it’s not a real camera?
“But it looks over-processed” - ok so use a film emulation app like Pearla or Leica app, or edit yourself in Lightroom like you would with a normal camera.
There is 0 reasons to not respect the images coming out of a modern iPhone and actually consider them as a true contender in the photography world.
Plus, you aren’t just carrying the camera. It’s also the editor and the poster. You can do it all with the phone.
Yes small compact cameras are convenient which is why people like them. But NOTHING, will beat the convenience of doing photography on an iPhone. Argue with a wall…
