I want to give a special shoutout to
@RyanGKOT.
Do you have a loyal friend? I hope you do. Because I do. His name is Ryan Gayle, and he has a heart like Christ.
Ryan is kind, gentle, honest, and true. He is everything you could want in a friend. In many ways, he is my definition of what a friend should be.
He never needs to be the center of attention, yet somehow he always serves as the moral compass. He shows up. That’s who he is. Through good times and bad, through excitement and disappointment, Ryan shows up. Even during those brutal 17-win seasons, Ryan showed up.
He showed up for J Ellis. He showed up for The Knick of Time Show. As a co-host, he brought insight, perspective, and a steady stream of facts and analysis that elevated every conversation. Ryan is a true intellectual—a thinker with endless curiosity. He’s smart in every way that matters. But what makes him special isn’t just his intelligence. It’s his kindness. His humility. His generosity. His willingness to give of himself without ever asking for recognition in return.
That’s why, after my first season with
@TheKOTShow , I went back through the YouTube archives and watched old episodes of Ryan and J Ellis. I wanted to learn how to be a better listener, a better analyst, and a better friend.
Ryan G is the ultimate co-host, but more importantly, he is the ultimate friend.
And when the Knicks finally won a championship, there were a lot of people who deserved to celebrate. Ryan was one of them. He earned that moment as much as anyone. He spent years investing his time, his passion, his intelligence, and his heart into this community.
Some people make fandom better. Ryan made all of us better.
Congratulations, my friend. No one deserves it more. 💙🧡🏆
