Sony underestimates the influence and power of the Destiny community. This will not end well for @Sony in the long term. You will be known for killing game franchises and abandoning live service games before they even get a chance - soon Marathon will probably be shutdown as will Bungie themselves. Who would want to play another game under @PlayStation name? Surely this can't be your business model.

Sony shareholders might have a juicy lawsuit on their hands. Sony bought Bungie for almost $4 Billion, and has written down losses but barely half that number. Their most recent adjustment should have been about triple what it was if they planned to shut down D2 & shutter Bungie.
