🎉 What an absolute blast at Valentine House today!. Our trainer brought the energy with FitHoy and these wonderful residents went full superstar mode! 💃🕺 We had cardio that got everyone moving, a full house (or two!) of laughter, and plenty of singing along to the music. We worked on flexibility, strength, mobility & balance — and of course the sensory balls came out to play. The concentration (and comedy!) while balancing those spiky little things on their heads was pure gold! 😂 Who knew circulation could be this much fun?. After working up an appetite, it was straight to the traditional Friday fish & chips with tartare sauce — well earned and thoroughly enjoyed!. 🚨 Match Day Report from Maitland House @blackswancare ! ⚽ The 2026 World Cup kicked off this morning and so did our FitWord session! Residents came dressed like pros, our trainer rocked the full football kit, and the energy was pure Champions League. We had Trionda the ball, the three host mascots, and even Pickles the legendary 1966 dog on the big screen. Some of the residents were singing, most of us were sweating, and zero red cards were issued. Full time? Proper beef casserole. Best group stage performance we’ve ever had. 10/10. This is the kind of robotics progress I pay attention to. Toyota introduced Walk Me, a walking wheelchair that moves on mechanical legs instead of wheels. It can climb stairs, handle rough terrain, and adapt to environments that were never designed to be accessible. The point is independence. Getting from A to B without asking the world to be perfectly flat. I have long believed robotics will not be about humanoids. It will be about task shaped machines, designed around real human constraints. Walk Me is a good example of that shift. So here is the question.
