India's defence growth story has made many milestones during the last 4399 Days of dynamic leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. A big initiative has been launched, shifting from "Buyer" to "Builder" in defence production. Defence production have touched an all-time high of ₹1.54 lakh crore in FY 2024-25 registering a rise of over 234% from FY 2014-15.
Import dependency has been significantly reduced with 65% of defence equipment now manufactured domestically.
India's defence equipment are now reaching to more than 80 nations, recognizing our high quality standard of indigenous defence equipment.

Defence exports have touched an all-time high of ₹38,424 crore in FY 2025–26, marking a rise of more than 5500% over the previous 12 years.
