Here is a YOUTH (non-position specific) throwing routine … often called a “catch play” routine condensed down to 1 minute.
Note: Drill #1 can be eliminated if young players know how to stay on top and behind the ball on release. This routine should be taught in chunks of 3 drills. Mastered and then added to until the entire routine in in place. Use this “most important 20 minutes of practice” regularly to significantly improve the throwing ability of your youth team.
