🚨 Big fan of this new format from @Nigel_Farage. It’s refreshing to see the full argument laid out properly, with the nuance and context explained that often gets lost in short clips and headlines. That’s exactly the kind of communication needed to bring people along on the journey. Before 2024, you couldn’t have paid me to listen to a Nigel Farage speech. My view of him was based almost entirely on media coverage. Then after hearing @ZiaYusufUK speak in June 2024, I decided to look at @reformparty_uk for myself and ask a simple question: were they really “far right”? I attended conference later that year and listened to Nigel’s speech. What I found was a lot more thoughtful and nuanced than the caricature I’d been sold for years. Hopefully this format helps more people understand the same. Because this debate isn’t about race. It’s about fairness, merit, integration and whether the current system is working for everyone.

The Senators and Congressmen I met with in Washington were extremely concerned about the deterioration of Britain, but just as interested in how Reform and @Nigel_Farage would reverse it. Our respective nations face some similar challenges: border security, immigration, law and order, energy, the AI race and the changing geopolitical landscape. We have faced down long odds before, we can do so again.

I keep hearing people say they’re supporting Restore because Rupert Lowe will deport more people than Reform. Except that’s not actually what the numbers show. 🩵 Reform’s target is 600,000 illegal migrants and foreign criminals removed. 🧢 Rupert Lowe says 150k - 200k deportations per year. But before anyone starts deporting people at those kinds of numbers, they need to recruit and train staff, expand enforcement capacity, secure detention space, pass legislation, fight legal challenges, and negotiate returns agreements. That obviously doesn’t happen overnight. That process would take at least 2–3 years. If Rupert reaches full capacity after 2 years that’s 450k-600k. Not more than Reform has suggested and potentially less. If he reaches full capacity after 3 years that’s 300k - 400k removals over 2 years.. again less than Reform. So the claim that Rupert will automatically deport more people than Reform simply doesn’t follow. Both plans face the exact same startup challenges.
