Due to the anticipated hot weather, I've decided it's best not to hold a dog show this year. The risk of dogs overheating and falling ill is too high...(Contd)

Many dogs struggle in higher temperatures, especially above 25 degrees Celsius. Flat-faced, long-coated, older, and unwell dogs are particularly vulnerable and should avoid being out during the hottest part of the day.

If you do bring your dog please exercise extreme caution. I'll be there with some fun activities to help cool your dogs down, and we'll have a prize for the 'coolest dog'. Most importantly, do not leave any dogs in cars, even if the windows are open. Thank you Dr Russell Welsh
