Most founders dream of VCs knocking on their door. @tannerlinsley has had that for years. And he keeps saying no! In my conversation with him, he shares the struggle of keeping @tan_stack, an OSS product used by millions of developers, free of monetary influence.

The first phase of the agentic SDCL starts in slack…
Most rework starts the same way. Nobody really mapped the change before the first line got written. CodeRabbit Agent for Slack plan feature turns your task into a codebase-aware plan. Right in your Slack thread.

users are already finding Fable works far better with cua-driver than their raw computer-use. we've offered to help the CC team wire it up for free. door's still open @bcherny @trq212 @alexalbert__ @_catwu @felixrieseberg @delba_oliveira lets chat - intros to the team welcome 🫶

Install @trycua and tell it to use the cua-driver skill. Works like Codex's computer use but can be used with any model. Integrated it with my Ghostty based IDE (ghostex.dev) and have been very happy with it.

Is @AnthropicAI's Fable 5 actually worth the upgrade? We benched the new "Mythos" family model against Claude Opus 4.8, and the data tells a surprising story: > Costs 2X more than Claude Opus 4.8. > Up to 3X slower on long-horizon engineering tasks. > 15-20% more comments, but mostly minor nitpicks. Fable 5 has incredible intuition for creative tasks like game design, but for day-to-day dev workflows, Claude Opus 4.8 still takes the crown for quality versus price. Checkout my discussion with @JuanPa from our DevEx team at @coderabbitai on the model release 👇

Let's go @ritviii !!!
What happens when a firmware engineer falls in love with community? You get Ritvi Mishra. @RoxanaCodes is sitting down with Ritvi on @SheShipsPodcast , community professional at CodeRabbit, who went from IoT and firmware engineering to developer relations, education, and makerspace culture. She also runs her own makerspace called Frenzy Works, built on one radical idea: it is okay to be bad at things. RSVP --> buff.ly/nhKVz1X #WomenInTech

Did you know CodeRabbit Agent for Slack can generate visuals? GitHub traffic, BigQuery data, Datadog metrics and more. Ask for a chart, diagram, or report and get it back in the thread. Ad-hoc or on a schedule. Your call.

you there. yeah you. i see you. i'm delighted to say that @coderabbitai has a new design system! i'd like to introduce you to carrot-ui. massive shoutout to @aaronmahlke for the quality design work, and the brain behind carrot-ui. also to @bruvimtired who'd pull 16 hour days to make sure we got our implementation right. it was a blast creating this with such a talented team, and I'm excited for you all to try it out yourself.
