SUB 3 HOUR HALF MARATHON!!! Sweat, blood and wanting to give up but after 2:59:31 hours we did it! The worry about time and pushing myself to the maximum speed I could for hours upon end made this a very rough afternoon but we do it for mental health, for those that suffer and for those who we’ve lost to this battle! To finish the race in the exact same spot hugging my grandma again was such a beautiful way to finish off the day. Its moments like that which make you realise life is worth living. Time to rest for a few days, then back onto the grind. The 6 marathons in 6 continents is coming up quite quick 😅

I’d have nothing, were it not for TAFE.
This is me. University was my passport to life. I graduated from @Macquarie_Uni with a bachelor of social science in 2006. My partner took this photo because I couldn’t afford the professional pics. I’m a Mount Druitt TAFE alum, teen mum, homeless kid, high school dropout.

MARATHON COMPLETED 🫡 Today I completed something that 5 months ago I would never of thought possible. 42.2km (26.2 miles), my first ever marathon completed and have raised £23,800 pounds for mind charity. Did I cry, yeah about 40 times but to run with over 100 people with many inspirations today was incredibly surreal and helped massively to overcome the challenge. Thank you to everyone who came down today and helped spread awareness for mental health and to @hardestgeezer for changing my life!!! MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS

Marcus @Thehullboy1 takes on his first marathon this Saturday at 2:00pm in Hyde Park, London. I’m gonna run it with him and it would be great to have as many of you as possible join to support/run with us. Marcus has an incredible story. I’m sure if you told his friends and family a year ago that this weekend he would be lining up to do a marathon, everyone would be shocked. But that is exactly what’s happening, and already he has shown us all how much is possible when you believe in yourself and back it up with relentless positive action. Now let’s get it done. See you Saturday @Thehullboy1 🫡
