Q: Did my stimulus money go to my old or new Emerald Card?
A: Stimulus payments were deposited onto your active Emerald Card. If you receive & activate a new Emerald Card, the funds will transfer automatically to your new card. Please allow up to 2 hours for that process to run.
Q: My check is lower than I thought it would be. Why?
A: The government determined how stimulus amounts were calculated. You can use our Stimulus Check calculator found here: hrblock.io/Stimulus

The IRS Get My Payment website may display an account number you don’t recognize. If you took a Refund Transfer, it may be reflecting that account number. Check your 2019 return to confirm.
But don’t worry – we have sent these payments on to the method you chose for Refund Transfer: direct deposit, check or Emerald Card. The money should be there by the end of the day.
Please be patient as stimulus payments are being direct deposited to Emerald Cards and bank accounts. Payments could happen at any point today but are likely to be processed by the end of today, January 4.
If you have a new active Emerald Card but it looks like the payment is on your old card, please allow a few hours for that to properly reflect on your new card. There is nothing for you to do, and this should occur by the end of today.
