Today crews from Haverfordwest Fire Station and Milford Haven Fire Station teamed up carry out water rescue training, covering water rescue skills such as swimming techniques, reach and throw rescues and in water rescue sled techniques.

On Saturday, September 28th two ducks had become tangled in a fishing line in the river and were in distress.
After donning their wading gear, Firefighters were able to catch the ducks in a net and release them from the fishing line before putting them in the care of the RSPCA.

Yesterday, the crew from Haverfordwest Fire Station successfully rescue two-year-old Doby, after he ran away from his owner and got stuck on the opposite side of a bog.
Crew members waded through the bog to reach Doby and safely reunite him with his owner!
