ALT "Culture isn’t just policies, procedures or relationships. It’s what happens when those things don’t work. It’s how we respond to ‘that kid.' It’s finding a way to reach every kid. Culture is doing whatever it takes to ensure all students succeed." —Leader Emily Paschall
Winston Churchill once said, "It is not enough that we do our best; sometimes we must do what is required."
Think about what you are working toward this year. Are you doing what is required or are you looking for a shortcut?
“Winning is fun... Sure. But winning is not the point. Wanting to win is the point. Not giving up is the point. Never letting up is the point. Never being satisfied with what you've done is the point.”
- Pat Summitt

TJ Devine, principal at JC Lynch Elementary in Florence 3, brings excitement to the academic goal setting process with a weekly WIG (Wildly Important Goal) Run. Students who meet their weekly academic goal run with Mr. Devine down the hallway and conclude by calling out their names on the PA system. Students love the WIG Run more than candy, extra recess, or a star on a behavior chart. @TheLeaderinMe@chad_d_smith#tlim

Excerpt John Maxwell email one year ago:
Growth is the great separator between those who succeed and those who do not. Consider the following questions:
1When are you growing?
2Which areas are you growing?
3Who is helping you grow?
4How are you applying what you learn?
"I love Voltaire’s observation that “History never repeats itself; man always does.” It applies so well to how we behave with money."
