In the 1960s, GM banned Camaros from having engines larger than 400 cubic inches.
But dealership owner Don Yenko found a loophole: he used "COPO" paperwork—meant for ordering fleets of taxi cabs and garbage trucks—to trick GM’s own factory into building him street-legal Camaros with massive Corvette engines.
