Thank you to everyone who helped out over the past election year. Whether you were a role holder on the CLP, you canvassed, leafleted, spoke to a friend about voting Labour or just made sure you reposted our messages on social media, thank you. Although we fell just short yesterday every single one of you can be proud of the role you played in a very positive campaign.
Most of all we would like to say thank you and commiserations to our incredible candidate, @hajirapiranie. You did us all so proud. The fight you brought against all the odds was truly remarkable and something we can all celebrate as we look forward to the positive change we all know a Labour government will bring to the nation. 🌹

Lovely to meet with parents in Leicester to hear about the issues affecting them.
Fourteen years of inaction means school uniform prices are too high, the Tories want to keep them that way.
Labour will bring costs down - I want to see children smart, not make families poor.

Robert Jenrick, who’s standing to be leader of the Conservative Party, wants Muslims to be arrested for saying "God is great" in Arabic in public.
That’s what Allahu Akbar means and every Muslim says it every day when they pray.
