I decided to go for this & have a final interview for a HoD role. They seemed keen & told me I was a strong candidate. But I’ve a holiday booked until the end of August (might be moveable). How would you navigate this in the interview? @educatorabroad @MsConnellTeach @SimonPobble

Someone told me a few days ago about a colleague who keeps a standard bag of Maltesers in her desk drawer at work and makes them last all week, and I'm so mind-blown that I keep thinking about how this is humanly possible.

Any other teachers feel like they binge eat when they get home? Be it a tough day or workload stress, I always find myself craving junk food on an evening to comfort me 😢 any advice?! Struggling with motivation atm too 😭

Hi all, I’m making the decision to go for it! However, I’ve booked a holiday next summer 18 Aug - Sept 1st. I’m going to hazard a guess that schools in the Middle East don’t honour holidays? 😬 it may have to be a Jan ‘24 position 😢 @NeilMaidment2 @MissTurnerChem @MrHagan85

Also, I totally recognise 29 isn’t old. I simply worry about wanting to settle down & leaving it too late. But as some people have said, it might be that I meet someone there! I think I’m scared deep down & need to make the jump 🙌🏻 thanks again to everyone for the encouragement🥰

Anyone else really struggling with work? Worked late every night this week setting up SOLs/lessons/strategies for next HT. That’s without time to mark books/mocks/etc 😢 just feel like I’ve been so irritable this week & worried what people think of me #teamenglish @EnglishWales
