Did you know fewer than one in five children (ages 0-5) in the UK aren’t moving enough to stay healthy?
Or that an inactive child’s brain does not develop as well as an active child’s brain?
Or that in England, over 20% of children are overweight or obese by age five.
Let’s change that. Help ensure every child gets the physical activity they need. We need your support to spread the word and encourage parents, carers, and educators to take proactive steps. 🙌
Support your child to be a Healthy Mover today. ❤️

The Chief Medical Officers’ physical activity guidelines for disabled young people, released in 2022, highlight the importance of at least 20 minutes of physical activity per day which is meaningful, enjoyable and inclusive for all. ❤️
But what does this activity look like?❓
For many young people, they are encouraged to participate in active travel, a Daily Mile or traditional sporting activities focusing on the cardiovascular benefits of physical activity. However, the guidelines emphasized the firm evidence of the benefit for disabled young people engaging in manageable strength and balance activities three times a week.
