MADE IT SUCKERS
If you’re wondering how my day’s going, an old colleague has just messaged me to say that they’ve read my palm from my Instagram story and that I have nine days to live.

Incredibly cowardly from FIFA who selected Omar Artan to referee the World Cup and was set to be the first Somalian referee to officiate at the World Cup. For the avoidance of doubt, Omar Artan had a visa, this is just racism.
Replying to @DaleJohnsonBBC
"FIFA is not involved in host country immigration processes, including visa adjudications, and has been informed by authorities that Mr Artan’s status will not be changed at present. 2/3

Pleasantly surprised that he addressed it. A broad statement like that is always easier than taking a stand when it's someone you know, but it's a start. Think there's an opportunity for the club to build on this moment and, for example, do some educational community work.

Seeing a lot of people mocking them because they’re in a relegation fight, morality is bigger than football. Taking a stand AGAINST support for abusers is something the game has been lacking for far too long.

In case you’re in any doubt about who Roberto De Zerbi is as a man. This is exactly what he said regarding Mason Greenwood:
"It saddens me what happened to him because I know a very different person from the one portrayed in England" "He's a good guy, he paid a heavy price for what happened, a very heavy price" This is rape apology. Do not reply.

#NoToDeZerbi there are more important things than football.
🚨 Tottenham are pushing, trying to get green light from Roberto De Zerbi for immediate appointment. Always been top target for summer but #THFC insist to make it happen now as talks are ongoing. Spurs see De Zerbi as ideal candidate for long term. 🎥➕ youtu.be/IiM2LmobKQI?si=myRu…

People seem to refuse to look at the facts when it comes to De Zerbi… they just see a “big name” and think it’s the best option - First manager in Brighton’s history to go winless in their first 4 matches in charge - Left Brighton because he fell out with Bloom over transfer strategy - Left Marseille because he threw toys out the pram and lost connection with dressing room - Is a massive hothead who squares up to players in training telling them to “call their agent and bring them here” Tottenham Hotspur is as unstable as it’s ever been in it’s history, and this appointment won’t make it better… there is absolutely nothing to suggest he is a long term solution

At the end of the day, football is full of horrible people. Our CEO clearly has no morals. I think it’s ok to accept that, and continue to support the team as long as you’re not trying to deny what De Zerbi is as a man. But let’s not try and deny what he is

This isnt just because we lost to Bournemouth, this is what comes to the boil after all of the below - Daniel Levys years of penny pinching - The hiring of Lange - The power control shifting from Levy and ENIC to the Lewis family aka ENIC 2.0 - The prices of tickets being astronomical to watch garbage - Players being underpaid in comparison to other aspiring top 4 teams - Years of neglect on what really happens on the football pitch - Years of atrocious football nothing like the brand of football we are notorious as a club for - An imbalance of playing staff - A lack of true outstanding leaders in the squad - Selling Kane - No star players left at the club - Players not playing for the badge - Seeing Arsenal becoming one of the best teams in the World whilst we talk more about relegation than we do getting top 8
What a mess. Thomas Frank booed. van de Ven, Porro and Palhinha confronting fans at the full-time whistle. #COYS #THFC

The Prime Minister said in September that we are at a fork in the road. These asylum proposals suggest we have taken the wrong turning. The idea that recognised refugees need to be deported is wrong. We absolutely need immigration controls. And where those controls decide to grant asylum, we should welcome and integrate, not create perpetual limbo and alienation. The rhetoric around these reforms encourages the same culture of divisiveness that sees racism and abuse growing in our communities. The Government is wrong to think that reviews of safety in the person's country every few years will mean refugees can be returned at scale. That hasn't happened in Denmark. Brutal dictators tend to hang onto power. It would just move huge amounts of resource away from making our asylum system work as it should - by cutting initial decision delays and the appeals backlog, sorting out asylum accommodation, making the UK-France deal work, removing those whose claims fail etc. The Government must think again on this. theguardian.com/uk-news/2025…
