The league subreddit moderator team is one of the groups most directly responsible for the decline of the game/esport over the last decade.
Everything gets removed unless it contributes to the cesspool of slop/doomerism in there. Shame.
The Children of HARDSTUCK CASTERLOW take on the so called NAvengers TONIGHT at 7:30 Pacific for your viewing pleasure
Top: The goat
Jungle: @RaafaaCasts
Mid: @GordoCasts
ADC: @SlayerCasts
Supp: @YanniCasts
Coach: @QuaxCasts
They will learn Hardstuck Casterlow is inevitable
For those curious this is my ballot. As always, this is a regular split only award
Biggest takeaways for me are that Obstinatus and Denathor being 3rd team was absolutely criminal, also why did Yuuji get MVP votes
Feel free to ask about anything
Did Neeko fool Dardoch on this play? @MobilityLoL did a great job of staying off vision, and I find it unlikely a player of Dardoch's caliber sends it like this knowingly onto Neeko
Awesome outplay from @KimDownLoL to catapult @WinthropEsports into the lead
Friendly reminder that 2 years ago my company produced CLOL to a degree that was universally well received at a fraction of the cost. It doesn’t have to be this way
In less than 12 hours, a historic collegiate rivalry culminates in a legendary final matchup (last seen in 2021) for the 2026 CLoL Championship.
@MaryvilleGG vs @WinthropEsports

Illustrating Their History🧵⬇️
Winthrop University is going into its 18th game over the last two weeks of NACL
Win or lose, this is one of the most mentally resilient teams I have ever witnessed at any level of play. Now they have a chance to knock out the top three seeds in succession. Game 5 baby

I appreciate @MrsChimChimLOL show and getting this out of Perry, something I've known since Perry's interview with Travis.
Reading through this thread: I've never been more motivated to step away from T2 and my work.
Majority of the thread is talking about why money was thrown away on these players. The reality is it doesn't apply to the minimum salary players, it applies to the orgs that gave Academy players $300k to buyout jail them from going to LCS teams.
The number quoted was based on California Minimum Salary in the state. These players are competing 8 hours a day in scrims, not to mention solo queue time in the office. Given the time investment, LEGALLY THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO BE PAID LESS!!
And the community response is they were paid too much and didn't provide value? Blows my fucking mind. How many triple AAA baseball players or G-League basketball players are providing direct value to you as a fan while they try to make it? The value is there when they do and you know what?
The difference of salary between Jojopyun and Humanoid for EG when they went with Jojopyun nearly covered the costs of Academy for the year according to EG.
If you want to talk about the exorbitant salaries of some of the pro players in the space and the lack of monetizing those players and personalities, I would say that's more than fair and I've been on the record for that. But going after T2 players when they got shell shocked by the same people that paid those salaries for the T1 players and within 6 months of me moving out to LA to cover NACL btw, I find to be beyond gross.
0 understanding from the community, and 0 empathy or sympathy from the community for the players who were trying to make it and keep the scene alive with their commitment to trying to go pro.
This is also MU’s lowest tier 2 finish since 2023 summer, the split after they promoted. After two years of being perennial contenders, they have been taken down by the program that also toppled their first collegiate dynasty five years ago
Absolutely wild to see them out early
