Happy New Year! The Year of the Snake starts January 29th and we had a great time celebrating with the @houseofchina and @chinese_san Wishing you health, happiness and prosperity this year!
⚠️ Scam Alert: Some San Diegans have reported receiving FAKE text messages instructing them to pay a "parking invoice”. These notices are fraudulent and are NOT from the City of San Diego. We are aware of the situation and are working to take the phony website down.
I was sworn in to the office of San Diego City Attorney today! And I’m ready. I’m ready to work with city officials and employees to solve San Diego’s toughest problems. I’m ready to enforce the law alongside our public safety responders to make San Diego safer. I’m ready to protect the taxpayers and stand up for you, the people who make San Diego the amazing city it is.
I’m ready to be your City Attorney. And I can’t wait to get to work.
I'm excited to take office on December 10th! Before I do, we should celebrate our amazing grass roots campaign and everyone who played a part in it. As my way of saying thank you, I hope you'll join us for a celebration and tacos at our favorite local restaurant. Message or email me to RSVP
On this Veterans Day, I'm reflecting on the service and sacrifice made by everyone who's served in the armed forces. Both my grandfathers, father-in-law, and my cousin are veterans and I'm so grateful for their dedication to our country. Thank you to all our veterans who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
We're thrilled with the early election results for my campaign! Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered, donated, and encouraged me on this journey, especially my partner in this life! Now, let's get to work!
Democratic San Diego Mayor @ToddGloria and council incumbents @SeanEloRiveraD9 and @CMWhitburnD3 also appear to have been re-elected while two big sales tax proposals are too close to call. @HeatherFerbert is also ahead in the city attorney's race. shorturl.at/ucRCq

I'm honored to have the endorsement of seven local bar associations! Together we'll continue to strengthen the legal community through integrity, independence, and public service.
I'm glad Department of Justice and California Attorney General are prosecuting this unfair business practice, but litigation takes time. Tackling the illegal use of technology to artificially fix rents locally will protect housing availability now. I'm looking forward to working with @SeanEloRiveraD9
on this important effort. Opinion: Price Gouging in San Diego’s Housing Market Must Stop Now voiceofsandiego.org/2024/10/…
City attorney race is dead heat, poll shows. Nearly 40% of voters are still undecided. That's exactly why I'm spending the next two weeks trying to reach every voter I can! Will you help me? sandiegouniontribune.com/202…
We held a press conference Wednesday with City Attorney Mara Elliott calling out my opponent's attempt to belittle my experience - and by extension, the work of every attorney in the City Attorney’s Office - as dismissive and disrespectful. Mocking my decades of public service as being ‘stuck’ in a ‘tiny area of law’ shows exactly how little respect he has for the office. San Diego deserves someone who values this work.
