Today is our first Trust CPD session across a number of our Trust Schools. This first session covers ‘How Pupils Learn’ and is built around the very latest evidence informed practice. Thank you to Adele Andre (@adele_alston) and Jeavon Leonard for facilitating this session.

Teachers have been trialling the use of mini-whiteboards in lessons to increase ratio of participation. We have had lots of CPD on Ratio of Participation using some of the research presented by Doug Lemov - ‘Teach like a Champion’. Great participation in this Year 10 group!

We are very excited to be hosting the HISP Mat SEND Workshop at the Highcliffe Hub on Tuesday 7th November. We cannot wait to welcome all our Trust SEND Leaders and to have the expertise of Clare Belli and Dr Amy Sayer over the course the day.

The week before half term was a super busy CPD week for Highcliffe with two wonderful sessions. The first was an external ALPS training session to help with KS5 data analysis & the second was delivered by our very own Katie Guerrini on ‘Adapting to the needs of an ADHD student’.
