Yet, despite UNCLOS being in force for 30 yrs, ocean conditions are worsening. Marine animal diversity is declining. Under UNCLOS mandate, the ISA regs being finalised will enable national & private corporations to mine the intl. deep seabed…destroying deep ecologies forever. 🌊
