Honestly Farm Kitchen, Co. Roscommon, is the 2023 RDS Sustainable Rural Enterprise Award Winner 🏆 @drumanilra Organic Farm located in Co. Roscommon, specialises in pedigree Dexter beef cattle and poultry farming. They prioritise fresh, sustainably sourced, and minimally processed food with short supply chains, aligning with the EU Farm to Fork Strategy. The farm applies various #sustainablemanagement practices. It is certified #organic and uses regenerative farming methods. The farm promotes biodiversity by maintaining natural habitats and uses organic methods to grow salads and vegetables. In their restaurants, ingredients are sourced locally to minimise food miles. We had a lovely staff meeting at the farm yesterday, where we were joined by the leaders of our restaurants, kitchens, bakery, production kitchen and admin services! We had a great planning session, followed by a walk around @drumanilra farm, then a fab lunch!

Dexter cattle on our farm having fun and foraging 🐄 We raise our cows completely organically, with no added hormones or nasties. Green grass supplemented with organic oats keeps them happy and healthy - so their meat does the same for us!
