NEWS: Loyola Marymount transfer Jan Vide has committed to Virginia, he told @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-6 guard out of Slovenia averaged 12.1PPG, 4.0APG and 3.0RPG this past season. Has also spent time at UCLA.

If I had to read between the lines, guess is ticket / travel package sales were anemic, and the organizer was fixing to take a bath. 90 days out would be the time to pull the plug.
Expecting UVA & NCSU fan bases to travel to Brazil was always a gamble. And no appeal to locals.
Our 2026 opener has been relocated home in Charlottesville.

Good amount of depth and competition on the wings and at forward, but ideally could use another point-capable guard. Center depth hinges on whether Ibe will be true freshman-ready.
