They also shamefully blocked my amendment to ensure not one penny of taxpayer money ever goes to the criminals who assaulted police officers on January 6th. Donald Trump still refuses to rule out sending taxpayer dollars to these thugs, and this bill does nothing to stop him. Instead of standing up for law enforcement and the American people, House Republicans left the door open to taxpayer-funded payouts for January 6th rioters. What a disgrace.
