The skies may be grey, but Wamata’s spirit shines bright. Wrapped in the cosy calm of an overcast day, she browses contentedly among the lush greens, savouring the fresh bounty brought by the rains.

Elephants, mighty and grand,
With power in each step on land.
Responsibility in their wise gaze,
Guiding the herd through life's maze.
Strength not for show, but to protect,
A leader's role, with respect.
Power and duty, in balance they stand,
Like elephants, we must understand.

There’s nothing quite like an African sky at dusk. As the sun dips below the horizon, the landscape is bathed in hues of pink and purple, creating the perfect backdrop to Galana.
This time of day holds a special magic, a peaceful interlude before night falls and nature’s nocturnal dwellers come to life. For Galana, an ex-orphan now living wild, it’s just another evening in the wilderness she calls home. swt.bio/galana#RescueRaiseRewild
❤️🔥We will be adopting 1 elephant every month for a year from @SheldrickTrust.
🎉Voting Starts today and will end on the last day of the month. No worries every elephant will be adopted. Two New Elephants will be added to the vote every 2 months. Visit @HoweyXRPL for voting details.

ALT Little Baraka survived a poacher’s snare around her head, only to fall victim to the 2022 drought. Her name means ‘blessing’ in Swahili — a fitting tribute to how fortunate she was to escape two life-threatening hurdles.
ALT It started, as it so often does, with a routine aerial patrol. Our fixed-wing pilot was flying along the Tiva River when he spotted a little elephant near Wamata, in the northern sector of Tsavo East National Park. She was alone and visibly forlorn, partially shrouded in the riverine forest.
❤️Special Thanks and Warm welcome to those who visit our page!❤️
This is will be our first post featuring an adoption program from @SheldrickTrust for our wildlife conservation efforts.
