Yes: "builders, analysts and academics alike are skeptical of whether it’s feasible." @MarkJCarney promised half a million new homes a year within a decade!! @beynate Here's what it would take to get there. @TorontoStar @_VictoriaGibson thestar.com/real-estate/mark…

Shameful.
It took me a year to get this data because Shoppers Drug Mart didn’t want it public. It reveals Ontario taxpayers footed a $61M bill for more than 1.2 million meds checks done by Shoppers over 14 months, via @TorontoStar: thestar.com/business/shopper…

First-past-the-post is pushing us toward a hyper-polarized, two-party system, fueling separatist talk when provinces feel shut out of Ottawa. Proportional representation would mean more Liberals from the Prairies and more Conservatives from Toronto, reducing division. #cdnpoli

Adam Vaughan is also trying to piecemeal the number of trees on West Island. Collectively, these trees formed an urban forest, an ecosystem & habitat for 100 birds and animals, and a mental health oasis for Ontarians. #topoli #onpoli

Albert Goodwin advocated for worker's rights and unions in British Columbia and pushed for better working conditions and pay for coal miners. His killing by police led to Canada's first general strike and his memory is honoured to this day. This is his story. 🧵1/12

All this just to back Therme who wants to dump raw sewage directly into the West Channel so they can lakefill. You’ve taken the lake for granted, Adam. #topoli #onpoli #Shame

Extraordinary!
Thank you to the National @homeless_law Center in D.C. for this letter to @fordnation re: Bill 6, which criminalizes encampment residents. The U.S. has seen how policies that criminalize homeless people fail to address encampments or community safety. Bill 6 must be rescinded.

.@TOAdamVaughan joins @ThermeCanada. He’s now a collaborator in the destruction of a public park at Ontario Place and Ontario Science Centre. He’s betraying the values of his father’s progressive-urbanist movement in the most craven manner. Congrats. cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/o…

In fact there is video! See Adam Vaughan (2019 version)’s comments from @Waterfront4All’s Rally to Save Ontario Place: *Doug Ford’s real estate selloff approach to Ontario Place is wrong *Great place to study the stewardship of water What changed? #topoli #onpoli
Is a transcript or video of his words from that event available?

A million more housing starts in 5 years? Approx 1.3 Mil starts expected by 2030 based on 2014-24 trend. @PierrePoilievre program claims a GST reduction, "encouraging cities" & sale of federal land will result in 1 Mil more market housing starts. How realistic is this? #elxn45

No. Not less congestion and better service. These buses will replace old equipment, and more service depends on more opex subsidy which the feds refuse to pay. I am tired of BS claims about what eBuses will achieve.
Exciting news! Today, we marked a major step in enhancing the TTC—part of our $700 million investment with the City of Toronto for 340 fully electric busses that will reduce emissions and support local jobs. This means less congestion, lower costs, and better service.

Media: your recent articles & responses to the @AMOPolicy call to solve homelessness are so missing the mark. You should all bring in a panel of experts to present the current knowledge including solutions instead of this fetish obsessing with addiction and mental illness. ...2
