I love track day videos but if you care about safety
REMOVE THE RADAR DETECTOR FROM THE WINDSHIELD AND STOW IT
Safe track time = nothing loose in the cabin

Lesson of this movie weekend for Hollywood execs who think successful movies can come off an assembly line, and that writers and actors don’t matter.
Nothing sells like a NEW story brilliantly told, with all the nuance and creativity only humans bring to every step of the process.

The future of driving is NOT binary.
There WILL be AVs in 2033…

2) Dual-Mode Vehicles (offering Autonomy AND Driver Augmentation, the latter still in its infancy)
"I think the vast majority of people will get around major cities in autonomous vehicles instead of driving in five years. Within 10 years, driving will be a hobby like riding horses is today." -Kyle Vogt, CEO @Cruise in March 2023 (not 2013). finance.yahoo.com/news/ceo-g…

Police at the door. A pedestrian was hit on Whyte Avenue, one says. My husband gasps, starts to shake. I look at him quizzically. What's wrong, I ask. The officer's eyes are sad. It was your son, he says. He didn't make it. Eight years and it feels like yesterday.
